The AW18 show sees the label continue its #TOMMYNOW tour around the globe
Since AW16, Tommy Hilfiger has ditched the traditional show format to stage a world tour (known as #TOMMYNOW) that has already seen the label travel to New York, Milan, London and LA to showcase its collections.
Now, for AW18, (remember, it’s see-now-buy-now), it’s heading to Shanghai. “Our experiential event will evolve to become an even greater storytelling experience that celebrates our powerful Fall 2018 collections,” Hilfiger said in a statement. “I look forward to unveiling our next season on a new continent.”
Details on the show’s theme are still unknown, but with the previous ones taking us to the circus, on to a racecourse, to the end of a pier, and into a fairground, it’ll obviously be a big, no-holds-barred production. Fans of Gigi Hadid will be sad to see her collab with the designer missing this time around, though. The model presented her final collaborative collection together with the brand in Milan earlier this year – but it’s likely she will still make an appearance. Stay tuned for more…
