Yohan also writes and accompanies his pictures with texts.

Where is utopia?

Stuck in the humanity deepest frustrations. The only thing to face off utopia, is writing. Utopia is like God : if you stop talking about it, it desappers. No one wants that.

What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

Some childhood memories based on strong images about forest, night and stories.
Emotion in photography is like a keyhole where you would be the burglar in the dark who is resolute to open it : you have a chance to open the door and see what’s behind. You feel what’s behind it, you see some images in your mind, you hope it won’t disappoint you. To open it, you need a pin, a good hearing and an open heart. Once you find the right combination, it’s like falling in love. You know it.

And the door opens. Here lies tales, stories and most of all, yourself and the meaning of all things.

If you don’t understand what I’m talking about, then go outside, take some shots again and write about it.

I love chaos, I worship darkness in any forms which is one of my main inspiration source so far.
I envy people who killed there ego. They are spiritually above any human forms.

What turns you off?

Violence, ego, bad human behavior, lack of consideration, fear of the other.

How Much Do the Myths of History Impact on the Lives of the Present?

Myths are stronger than facts because people will always see a sign in it reather than a fact. Facts are limited by truth. Myths are limited by the way you see passion and interpretation in it. Past was made of stories. Present is made of facts. I’m not sure there is a link between both. I’m not sure which is the better for the soul either.

What is utopia made of?

Futur cataclysm.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

 The growth of humanity.

What is your idea of earthly utopian human?

A buddhist with strong condiseration for the other with a black jacket, a gun with no bullets in the right hand to remember how stupid we are (sometimes because we have to, tough) and a pen in the other to write what we should be in front of a whole planet listening in a perfect silence.

To what faults do you feel most indulgent?

Any (almost…) as long as the person recognizes it. I have a huge respect for repentant people. They are the best hope we have.

What is your favorite virtue?

Rectitude and a big sens of humor.

What is your Utopian action?

Elon Musk is already on the case.
